This is an early 19th century standing wall fountain of white Carrara marble. The carved and fluted bowl sits on a beautifully carved pedestal and is topped with a bas relief carved back splash. The basin has a drain hole, and the backsplash has a hole for a spout. The height of the basin is 43 inches, which could be lowered by 2 inches by cutting the base block, making it a perfect height for a powder room sink, especially if you used a pre-mixing valve for the water temperature.
