A Beautiful Double Inkwell with Tray desk set including one ink well and one ponce pot, both with rococo style lids, on their original matching tray. All pieces are marked with the red orb and cross and initials KPM over the underglazed blue royal scepter and various painted, impressed and stamped marks.
Hand painted with shades of pink, gold highlights and flowers. The tray is splendid with trembleuse type rings to hold the inkwell containers in place. The set is in excellent condition with the exception of four of the tiny ‘teeth’ on the trembleuse having been repaired.
