Louis XV style extremely fine and rare table made by Alfred-Emmanuel-Louis Beurdelay. Signed “BY” on the back of at least one of the ormolu mounts.  The fine, hand-chased ormolu and the skillful and unusual joinery combine to tell the mastery of its creator.  It has a beautiful three lobed shape, made of rosewood with floral inlay on the top. The top is hinged, and opens to reveal a fitted interior, over two smaller drawers.  The perfectly proportioned legs terminate in pied de biche (doe’s feet) ormolu. France, c.1875

23.25” wide  x  17.75” deep  x  30” tall.
