A large Silver Gilt Mounted Magnifying Glass by the legendary Venetian Jeweler, Attilio Codognato. The gold over European silver frame around the Magnifying Glass is embellished with a border of Rococo swags and deep red cabochon stones. The handle is constructed of shaped bands of silver gilt, carnelian, and agate. This Magnifier is luxuriously weighty and substantial.
