This edition features elaborate leather binding with 6 silverplate medallions by R Schoegl, with decorative corner protectors on the front and back covers. The front cover is further decorated with fine carving and gilding. The book itself is an 1874 edition of Faust by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe illustrated with engravings by A. Von Kreling.
Condition: Good; normal oxidation to the silverplated portions of the book. Some very light wear to the leather spine.
