French sterling silver three bottle perfume set in very good condition. The three perfume bottles are shaped to fit well into the cylindrical sterling silver Neo-classical style container. There are no chips or cracks on the glass bottles. Marked with French sterling silver (.950) and maker hallmarks of Maison Bloch Eschwege.
The Hallmark is Minerva -1st title, indicating that the silver is 950 out of 1000 parts pure silver. It was used in Paris between 1838 and 1926.
The Makers Mark is for Maison Bloch Eschwège and shows a B and E separated by a diamond shape. The mark was registered in 1920 and was cancelled 6 years later. They operated first at 23 Rue Des Fontaines in Paris and then moved to 49 rue Meslay.
